Dr Nicholas Cothard is a researcher in the Observational Cosmology Laboratory at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, working on the development of instrumentation for future far-infrared (far-IR) astrophysics missions. His research focuses on designing and testing superconducting micro-resonator detectors as well as developing microfabricated lenses, filters, and other novel devices for sensing far-infrared radiation.
