Prof. Manfred Leubner is a Professor of Physics and Astronomy at the 
University of Innsbruck, Austria. His research interest covers Astrophysics 
and Space Plasma Physics, particularly in the area of kinetic theory and 
wave particle interactions. He is currently on a sabbatical research 
position at the Space Research Institute of the Austrian Academy of 
Sciences. He has been a visiting scientist at NASA-GSFC and at the 
Max-Planck Institute for Extraterrestrial Physics in Garching, Germany
